What you'll learn

In their first year students will study eight compulsory modules, giving them a strong understanding across business management before they specialise in their second and third years. All students in their final year of study will complete Applied Work Integrated Learning (AWIL). This gives students an opportunity to be placed in industry, gain valuable work experience and complete an agreed piece of research, increasing the chances of employment when they graduate.

In their second year students will study three modules specific to their major and a further three which could either contribute to a second major, or be elective modules based on the student's areas of interest. Students will also take the Applied Management and Research Methodology core modules.

Career/further opportunities

Depending on their major, graduates may go on to work in roles such as: human resource manager, management consultant, public administrator, accountant, financial controller, sales manager, marketing manager, advertising and business development, and specialist management positions.
